Contact Amsterdam is a creative hub based in the West of Amsterdam. Originally a car manufacturing building, this 4000 m² space has been transformed into 60 studios for artists and creatives, with shared areas such as a theater, meeting rooms, a garden and a restaurant called LFTOVR.  At the heart of the space is a makerspace, where various machines and digital fabrication tools are accessible for the creative community and for makers in the Amsterdam area. At the moment there are 3 studios available. All of them are 15 m² and located in the basement.

Contact Amsterdam is looking for any type of artists or makers. The only artists they would not accept are those who make a lot of noise welding and grinding.

Musicians may be accepted, however some studios would need to be soundproofed. So preferably visual artists, filmmakers, makers/artisans.

Also, the rental price gives access to the shared machines in the fully-equipped makerspace i.e. laser cutters, format saw, 3D printers, kilns, and all types of tools.
